The Glen is fortunate to be located a short walk from The Station Inn at Oxenholme, a charming pub and restaurant where you will find an excellent range of beers, wines and traditional home-cooked food made from fresh local ingredients. Why not take an evening walk on The Helm to watch the sun set over the Lakeland hills and then reward yourselves with a drink or meal in our local inn?
A little further away (about 1.5 miles), you will find The Punchbowl at Barrow’s Green, on the A65 towards the M6, which has a well-regarded menu and produces its own Kendal Mint Cake Vodka.
Kendal also boasts many great restaurants to cater for all tastes, including a selection of British, Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants.
