  • Twin rooms available – ideal if you’re touring with a friend.
  • Family room for groups of three – two separate beds plus a comfortable sofa bed, perfect for friends who want to share but still have their own space.

“Motorcycle friendly accommodation is not always easy to find but here’s an establishment that went way beyond simply ‘good’. It was first class.

We stayed at The Glen for four nights in early July, touring the Lake District on our Harley Davidson Motorcycle. First impressions were good! A nice large tarmacked private car park off the road, the surface was in excellent order. Much more bike friendly than the usual gravel trap.

It got better, we were immediately offered the use of the private garage for the Harley, the garage is on site just by the main entrance to the property. It is secure and we could come and go as we wished.

Would I stay here again? Yes, without a moment’s hesitation.”
